Name them,Keegan, Venables, cClaren and the rest of them. All English managers that had at one time or the other handled the Three Lions ( England's national football team) but failed in bringing back thew old glory of the past.
England had suffered the absence of great managers for sometime now.And for a long time ,too, they have been really hurt by the poor or slightly above average performance of their national team in recent years.
Under a foreigner, Sven Goran Eriksson, they did try. They played in the European nations cup and qualified for world cup in Germany. His record is there for any one who is curious enough to check out the fact of history that is undisputable.
After the world cup failure, Sven Goran Eriksson was sacked.Today the man is doing wonders with the Manchester City FC which he has catapulted to a position they had failed to reach in the past five years compare to their city rivals.Man United.
McClaren, Eriksson's assistant,a son of the soil (in our local palance here) was brought in to carry on with the job a lead his country to the Euro 2008 finals.
The English FA decided on McClaren. in opposition to the general clamour for the Big Sam, Sam Alladyce, the then manager of Bolton Wanderers.
It was clear from the beginning that McClaren could not take the team any place near the Euro 2008 because of his style of management. He was not motivating enough. This was conspicuous in their last match which they needed to win but which they lost even at their backyard in Wembley Stadium.
Now, the English FA has decided to invite another foreigner to handle the team.Fabio Capello, the former winning Manager of Real Madrid of Spain who was unjustifiably laid off by the Directors of the Spanish side after he had won the league shield for them at the expense of Barcelona.
I want to agree with what the Manager of Portsmouth,Harry Redknapp said to the effect that what England needs is not a big-name manager, but someone who could motivate the team and draw up the right tactics for them to use.
England has some very talented and creative players who, under the right manager, play the best of effective and result-oriented football.
Let us hope that Capello would be the right man for the job as the FA had thought.
For now in England...
No more a son of the soil.

Samuel Eto'o Fil: The Return of the goal Poacher
When the Cameroonian striker was out on injury, most opponents of his Barcelona team rejoiced because they all know what he could do on the field of play.
Samuel Eto'o Fil was away for about four months due to injury. And everytime his team played you could see him on the spectators' side of the field watching his mates do their thing in his absence.
There was a particular match l watch and one could feel that the player was really missing the football actions as he was kicking the air and moving up, down and sideways anytime his mates missed any opportunity.
In one domestic match in Spain, Samuel Eto'o was shown on television putting his two hands on the head whenever his team-mate and friend, Thierry Henry missed the ball.
He was so uncomfortable that l had to pray and wished him a speedy recovery from his injury because one could see that he was really missing the football actions
Now Eto'o is back!
The sleekly striker with an eye for goal and a kick that sends his opposing goalkeeper to the back of their net to retrieve the ball all of the time is around again.
What other ways could he use to announce his comeback than to begin to do what he is known for?
Etoo did exactly that.
He scored on his return to duty and one begins to wonder where the goals had been since his absence when his team had not been able to perform at away matches as they used to do in the past season.
Welcome back to your natural habitat, Sam...
Welcome to the field as you bring back the missing link in the attack of Barcelona.
Stand up for the great goal poacher called Samuel Eto'o Fil!

Emmanuel Eboue: A Lesson In Karmic Justice!
Sunday 16th December,2007.
Venue: Emirates Stadium,London
Event: Premier League match- London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea.
Few minutes into the hostility between two forgiven rivals danger struck.Emmanuel Eboue of Arsenal deliberately kicked the leg of Chelsea captain, John Terry, and the defender could not continue with game.Even when he tried to the pains would not let him.
Result?
John had to leave the field of play with pains written all over his handsome face.
It was as if he knew the eventual lost that would befall his dear team at the Emirate Stadium after about three years of dominating their rivals under the command of their Commandant,Jose Mounrinho.
Regrets?
Not for Eboue and his admirers who liked what he did to their supposed kill-joy called John Terry who was sure to inspire his team to winning the match had he been there on the field with them.
His reward... a little yellow card flashed on his face by the Referee.
While the game was still going on, Eboue and his lovers had thrown away the natural laws that guide the flow of the universe:
"As you sow, so shall you reap!"
Eboue was really in his element and he performed to everybody's admiration. He terrorised his opponents' defence like the true hungry lion as searched for the elusive goal.
He kicked, dribbled and passed the ball to his team-mates as best as he could with the belief that they may convert the passes into goals.
But the goals refused to come. They kept missing the chances.
Later...
Nature,or call it whatever other name you may like, came to judgment.
While Eboue was trying to get a ball that was passed to him close to flank and near his own goal-post,Joe Cole of Chelsea stretched his leg to disturb the flow of his run.Though Eboue managed to pass the ball to Fabregas as he struggled to kick it while still on the ground, the damage had been done.
Joe Cole's hard tackle had drawn blood from Eboue's leg and he laid there on the ground.
Unfortunately for him the referee was even more concerned with the body-push of Mikel Obi against Cesc Fabregas on the touch-line.And so, he had gone to warn Mikel and gave him a yellow card for the offence.
By the time the official returned to Eboue, he was already filled with his own blood all over his leg.
An accident ?
A mistake on the part of Joe Cole?
Deliberate revenge of his captain's sad experience in the hands(or leg?) of Eboue?
Call it what you will.
The fact of the case, as far as l am concerned, is that there is natural justice which no man can ever run away from.
Eboue reaped disaster because he had sown disaster.
This the lesson l want all of us to learn .
As we are entering the new year, we should beginning to resolve within us to sow good deeds so as to harvest good rewards.

Liverpool: What's The Problem ?
I get concerned about this team because l used to like them. Also, because my little boy of eleven years of age has been a fan since the age of nine when they did the unbelievable to A.C. Milan.
Don't you remember their come back?
Actually, that was what attracted my son to the Reds.
And he has never ceased from supporting them till date.
But l am beginning to feel concerned for my dear little boy because of the latest misfortune of the club but at home in the domestic league as well as in Europe.
A good follower of this club would be concerned too. Here is a club with the highest number of titles won at the football league in England as well as in the continent of Europe.
This same club, under the leadership of Manager Rafeal Benitez, had done wonders at the continental level to the detriment of their local league. And everybody is now beginning to wonder about when they would be able to win the local league again after so many years.
For sure, nobody prays that Liverpool should stay as long as Chelsea FC(50 years, if you must be reminded and only through the "Special One")before lifting the league shield again.
The talents are there. The boys, from all indications, looked determined to win the shield for their large followers at Anfield , yet it seems something is truly wrong somewhere.
My little boy actually cried yesterday,Sunday 16th December,2007, when his dearest team was beaten at their backyard-Anfield.The boy felt something was wrong somewhere, but he could not say just what.
While commenting on my observation,l told my son that it seems Benitez has lost his magic this time around because he now plays Nepotism above the game of soccer.
Don't take my words for it.I may be wrong, for all you care.
But everything points to that direction.
Check it out.
How many of Liverpool's team are from Spain?
How many are from other parts of Europe?
How many African, or those with African blood are in that team?
Something is wrong with Liverpool under Benitez this time around.
It is natural that you would like your blood brother much more than you would like an outsider. That exactly is what Benitez is doing to favour the Spanish players more than others in his team.
Evidence:
When last did Sissoko play as regularly as his Spanish counterpart?
Is he not in form?
For what he played on Sunday, the Malian was very much in the game.
Then why hasn't Benitez been using him regularly before the arrival of his brother from Spain?
What happened to Dudeck after the EUFA Champions League extra-ordinary performance?
He got duped and the Spaniard,Reina, took over as the first-choice goalkeeper
What was about to happen to Steven Gerrard when Benitez choose to play him at the right side of the mid-field to give room for Alonso in the middle of the field?
Gerrard cried out and everybody, including the Merseyside newspapers, screamed at he atrocity being committed by the Big man from Spain because they knew that sooner than later (as at that time) their dearest son would be pushed over and this may affect his place in the England team as they were preparing for the world cup then.
Crouch...Oh, Crouch...!
What has become of this gangling star in the hands of Benitez?
Beni kept bringing in strikers most of who are not as dedicated to the game as this English boy who spells doom for any defence that toys with him and his size.
Crouch's position in the pegging order of strikers in Liverpool is nothing to be proud of..Yet the manger would not loan him out to other team so that he could face the challenges of a first team play week-in,week-out and mature with time to a deadly striker everybody knows he could be.
Body should do something now before it is too late.
Benitez seems to have lost his magic wand this time around.

At Last Arsenal Confirmed Their Superiority Over Chelsea
For a long time, especially since the arrival of the "Special One", Jose Mounrinho(before the unceremonious departure from the Stanford Bridge), Chelsea had held their fellow Londoners to ransome for as long as Mounrinho was around with them.
It has taken the departure of the Portuguese special manager of the premiership side for the Arsene Wanger boys to bring their arch rivals down from their big castle in the air.
Sunday, 16th December,2007 would go down in memory as a special day at the Emirate Stadium. The likes of Cesc Fabrigas, van Persie, Adebayor (don't mind his many misses-he was still a terror to the Blues that day),Flamini.Rosiscky,Toure,Eboue,Gallas,Clichy(a thorn in the flesh of Wrigth-Philips),Sagna(the unfriendly little boy that terrorised the big Shevy),Almunia, etc would remember that day for a long time to come.
From the blast of the whistle, the Gunners piled up the necessary pressures to made the Blues cave in ,but they stood their ground with their captain,John Terry leading the defence to cover Cech adequately.
Arsenal did not get any chance to do the planned damage to their opponents until after Emmanuel Eboue caused Terry to leave the field after a deliberate hard tackle which resulting in him being given a yellow card and Terry limping out of the field as he could not bear the pains any longer.
The Gunners then began the real pressure and pumped in many devastating shots which Cech succeeded in putting away.
However, when the decisive corner kick came he could hardly save the day for his team.
It was a good sweet revenge for the Arsenal captain,William Gallas.
Remember that he left Chelsea in anger, not because he did not like the team.He left because Jose Mounrinho preferred using him at the "wrong" place in the defence. That is at the wing.
How, l guess, Gallas would have wished that Jose was the one in control of Chelsea when he decided to punish them for throwing him away unceremoniously from the Stanford Bridge.
Ashly Cole tried to pay Arsenal back by running to the attack on many occasions with the hope of scoring a goal against his former team but for the alertness and quick wit of Kolo Toure who put him down on as many occasions.
In all, it was a nice game.
We enjoyed our money (though some betting addicts lost theirs). We also got our adrenaline fired up most of the time.
Well, one can not complain. After all, that is what football is all about.
You get fired up some time, especially when the stake is high and the performers were ready to perform for you.

Chelsea Without Didier Drogba
On Sunday 15th Dec.,2007 Chelsea FC was beaten at the Emirate Stadium by a determined Arsenal team who were out to break the three year jinx of not being able to beat their opponent from the other side of London.
The game lived up to expectations as the sides were all out to have the upper hand.In the process,so many chances were lost. These were mostly on the part of the hosts whose three chances from Adebayor, van Persie and Fabregas were called off by the centre referee.
The visiting team played without their magic-man, Didier Drogba who was out on injury.
That was about the third match in which he would not be featured.
Did they miss him?
Was there a vacuum when Drogba was unavoidably absent?
You bet... there was a conspicious miss.
Since the Ivorien's absence the team has never been the same.It was as if the strong attacker holds the heart of the team in his hands.
One wonders what the team would look like in January 2008 when the African would be playing at the CAF organised African Cup Of Nations in Ghana.
Would Chelsea be the same?
Who would convert all those beautiful "killer passes" from the mid-field?
To my mind, Shevchenko is no more the man he used to be.The age issue has finally set in, and this to the team's disadvantage.
Shevy was the man they depended upon to do the required damage to Arsenal on Sunday. But all his efforts(the little he had) were thwarted by the likes of Gallas, Toure and Sagna.
Sagna,in particular, was a real thorn in the flesh for the Ukrainean .The young guy jsut stood close to him throughout the game like a leach.
Well, l pity this team... honestly l do.
They lost the inspiring captain, John Terry in the first half of the game to an uncalled-for hard tackle by Emmanuel Eboue. With Terry out, the pressure became unbearable.
At last, they succumed to the heat when William Gallas,Arsenal captain, jumped above everybody within the vicinity of the box and headed the deciding goal into the net.
It is now obvious that Chelsea's talisman is Didier Drogba and without him the heart of the team would not beat.

Arsenal And The Injuries
There are about four or five of the big name players of Arsenal that are down with injuries now.
Name them: we have the likes of Fabrigas, Flamini,Hleb, Van Persie and Adebayor(whose own seems to be a minor one from outside).
It is such a pity that things are like this for the young boys of Wenger.
You will want to sympathise with them especially when you consider their determination to win the league battle this season.
Now that the league is entering the most crucial period(Christmas time, mid-way into the league), the injuries are creeping in like a mad worm that would not leave the wounded man alone.
By Sunday 16th December,2007, the boys would be facing the fire-force and ruggedness of an ambition driven Chelsea FC in a London derby.
This would be their first encounter since Grant took over the club and the departure of the marvericks Henry and Mourinhho.
Remember also that the young boys of Arsene Wanger had earlier this season played draws with the other two giants of the English football.
Manchester were at the Emirate stadium where ,when they had thought they had it all wrapped up, the boys came from behind to steal a draw.
Even at Anfied where the likes of Gerrard had hoped they had won they day's match, the hopeful guys of London showed the stuff they are made of this season.
It is hoped that the injury list would not seriusly affect the boys performance on Sunday.

Malaga As Super Eagles'Camp For Nations Cup Preparations
The Super Eagles coach,Berti Vogts, has chosen the camp of his team in their preparation for the Ghana 2008 Nations Cup, to be Malaga in Portugal.
Is it not baffling that a town in Europe (with the coldness of the weather) is considered to be the right place to assemble the team that would play all of their matches in a very hot West African heat in January 2008?
This is curious indeed.
It is wrong, is does not make any sense to me how the leader of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) could allow that kind of place for the Eagles to camp in.
Cameroon, our traditional rivals, decided to camp in Africa.Ghana too are doing the same.
Why do we always get it wrong?
Why don't we use the services of the people who are knowledgable about these things?
Are our doctors who have the knowledge of Physiology not there for the use of the NFA?
Did the NFA consult them?
Is it right to train your players in a cold environment for a tournament that would hold in a hot environment?
Why did we keep our knowledge of altitude? Or don't we havew it at all?
This beginning is wrong and l must say so.
We should get our acts right. We need to!

Berti Vogts,Moyes And Anichebe
It is so unfortunate that even after Everton's Anichebe decided against playing
for England and favoured his fatherland in his decision,he is still yet to play any match for Nigeria as at the moment of writing this article.
This is very sad indeed!
One would have thought that the authotiries of Nigeria football would have made their decision in favour of this young, courageous guy who was so decisive in his stand .They
should have 'compelled' Berti Vogts, the German coach, to play Anichebe,if only for once.
As if that is not humiliating enough-coming all the way from England to play for Nigeria- the young player was even dropped from the list of players that would play at the next African Cup of Nations in Ghana.
Information circulating around is actualy pointing accusing finger in the direction of Everton Manager,Moyes, who, in order not to lose all of his strikes to the Nigerian nation cup participation especially at that time when the Premier League would be at its hottest period, decided to ensure that Vogts reached an agreement with him to drop Anichebe and go with only two Nigerians,Joseph Yobo and Yakubu Ayegbeni.
That to me was not good enough.
It was a big sacrifice indeed.
Granted that Anichebe is still young and he could still play for Nigeria for as long as he is still strong and able.Does that mean we should sacrifice him for a selfish reason.?
To me, Moyes' action was not the right thing. No England coach would have accepted that from him.Never!
Even if they need the whole of your team for their national side, they would not compromise at all.
But when it comes to our own case, which is a genuine one for that matter, we usualy sit down and do nothing.
We have kept quiet for too long and that is the reason the mangers of teams our players are always treat us like rags.So unfortunately indeed.
It is time our leaders change their style of running the football house in Nigeria and be firmly in control.
Sacrificing Anichebe was too much a thing to do for a selfish manger like Moyes.
Sikirulai Olukayode Kazeem
for England and favoured his fatherland in his decision,he is still yet to play any match for Nigeria as at the moment of writing this article.

Benitez's Unpredictability
Any time l watch Liverpool play l get so confused that l wonder what actually may be going on in the mind of coach Benitez while he was drawing the list of his players for whatever match they are playing.
Benitez is one coach l respect so much because, whether you like him or not, he is an achiever both in his country,Spain, and in England. He has what most coaches do not have- solid heart of rock.
Even when his critics would not let him alone as regards the choice of a permanent first eleven that would include the English darling striker, Peter Crouch, Benitez has remained adamant.
When most fans had somehow lost hope of qualification for the round of 16 of the EUFA Champions League, Benitez and his boys went to France to dazzle Masrseille who had earlier defeated them in Liverpool by a lone goal.In their revenge, they beat the French boys silly by Four goals.
Isn't that wonderful?
That is the usual unpredictability element of Benitez.
The thing is that though they won mid-week, it does not mean they would do same at the weekend when they face Manchester United in their Barclays Premier League match on Sunday 16th Dec.,2007.
Benitez's winning team in far away France could suddenly be changed and you would be left wondering what has happened to the winning spirit of the team again.
Ihere is no predicting Uncle Beni and his team.
If you can confidently predict the man, you could as well predict the future successfully 100%.

Pompey Fans And Kanu
When Kanu Nwankwo missed a penalty in a crucial match where
himself and his team mates played their hearts out against Liverpool
Pompey fans (at least majority of them) called for his head forgetting
that this same man had helped the club on several occasions when the
going was very bad and they were looking up to the goddess or god of
soccer to provide the way out of their trouble.
Looking at the way Kanu scored the needed goal for the club over the
weekend l asked myself how these same fans felt about him bearing the
fact that they were all over him called for his dismissal from taking any
penalty in the future.
Kanu, by the grace of God, has always been lucky all his career.
If Pompey fans truly know the man and his kind of luck they sure will
not border their heads about whether the guy would deliver or not.
Take your mind back to the past and you will agree with me that Kanu
shines most whenever people are right on his neck. It's as if he enjoys it
when the fans see him as a 'fallen-hero' sort of.
If Pompey fans reall desire that Kanu should perform to his best this new
season, then they should continue with their criticism of his every performance
and see if l'm lying about King Kanu.
After all said and done the question all of us need to ask ourselves about this guy's life is:
"What lesson should we learn about Kanu's life experiences?"
The following are what l personally learnt from Kanu's experiences in life:
* Never take what people say about you to be the truth concerning your person.
Why?
You and no other person understand yourself better. You alone know who you are.
* Don't ever right yourself off no mater what is happening to you.
* Always put in your best when there is a work to be done even when nobody
praises your effort.
* Those who praise you today may turn round to condemn you tomorrow.
The remedy...
* Don't expect to be perfect at all times. Perfection belongs to God;we can only try
our best which may not be good enough to warrant human praises.
* Enjoy your work and earn your pay as you go. The key factor is for you to like what
you are doing.
* Be confident at all time.
* Trust the people around you to be there whenever you need them .Kanu could not
have scored any goal all by himself. His team-mates had their own roles to play and
they did play their roles to win the game for the club.
There you are!
Keep at it and get going. Life is an endless race for perfection.
Congrats to King Kanu of Pompey and Nigeria.

Lulu Vs Obaseki: A Battle Of Ego
The Chairman of Nigerian Football Association (NFA) has been having a
running battle with his Vice Chairman who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria
Football League (NFL), Chief Obaseki since the commencement of their regime
as leaders of the Association after the unceremoniuos departure of Alhaji Galadima.
It's so unfortunate that things have to be like this in our football circle.
How we got to this disgraceful level with our soccer is yet to be explained.
But we should all realise that the problem really is that of ego and nothing else.
Either man sees himself as bigger than the other guy.And for this reason they will
not bend for eachother even when all of us are negatively affected by their unnecessary
rivalry.
The simple case of placement of referee for a football match was made a show of as if it
is much morew than that.
I personally feel that the matter goes beyond these men. There is more to their incessant
wrangling than meet the eye.
These are two men who were together when they wanted to drive away the regime of their predecessors.
Alhaji Galadima was trying his best to get the desired autonomy for the NFA frrom the
excessive government control of football which many officials of the then Ministry of Sports
were not happy about hence his send-off from the Association.
The President himself should come into this matter and make our football grow.
Somebody should be bold enough to cut off Amos Adamu's excesses in the house of football.
This guy is going beyond his place in the Sports Commission.
Let's have an orderly NFA just as we have a peaceful NFL.
Lulu ands Obaseki should please give us some degree of peace and harmony.
Football is run else where and we hardly know their internal wranglings.
Let's keep our house in order.

The Mourinholess Chelsea Fell At The Theatre of Dreams
Jose Mourinho said that he would not watch Chelsea's matches in the next
three or so outting after his departure from the bridge.
Was he right?
Could the Blues have lost like they did to Manchester Uniteed if the "Special One"
had ben sitting there on the bench supervising the proceedings?
My believe is that they could not have .
We watch a soulless Chelsea FC for the first time in recent time. The usual fighting
spirit was not just there and that is the truth.
Some blamed the central Referree for the misfortune of the Blues. They said he cause
them the match immediately he gave Mikel Obi that Red card.Whether Mikel deserve
the card or not is for another time of debate.
Did Chelsea fans forget that it was not the first time they would be one man down and
yet they had performed in the same circumstances in the past?
Let me remind you if you've forgotten.
Chelsea played one man down against Vallencia at the second leg match of the 2006/7
UEFA Champions League quarter final match and they ended up the winners because
of Mourinho's "Winner Spirit Syndrome".
They were one man down against Arsenal at the final of the 2006'7 Carling Cup and
they won the cup all the same.
The truth is that we are now beginning to experience the effects of the departure of
The Special One, Jose Mourinho himself.
I'm yet to be convinced that there was no divided dressing-room for Chelsea on the
day they played against Man U.
My reason?
Mourinho has some players that love him so much they did not want him to go.
The likes of Didier Drogba,Michael Essien, Calvalho, Frank Lampard , Shaun
Wright -Phillips (Whom Mourinho has started to use consistently since the
beginning of the season-Did you notice the guy came in as a substitude against Man U?).
Mikel Obi- Mourinho's special jewel from Africa. And they other new players who
signed for the team believing that Mourinho would continue to be incharge for long.
It's high time Chelsea get their acts together quickly otherwise the departure of Mourinho
may spell their doom.
Somebody should please convince me that l'm wrong.
Up Blues!

Adebayor: Five Goals In Two Matches
The Togolese striker of Arsenal FC, Emmanuel Adebayor is gradually
picking himaself up from the shadow of his departed hero, Thierry Henry.
Adebayor, throughout the pre-season matches of his club, was declared
unfit to play in the matches due to an injury which was just getting better then.
Now the Togolese striker is back on his feet and scoring like no man business
for his darling club, the Gunners.
Recently Adebayor scored five goals in two matches for the youthful Arsene
Wanger side. The latest of which was the hat-trick he score against Derby County
on Saturday September 22,2007.
My observation is that it seems that Adebayor is now getting to realise the fact
that he has to contniue to be himself and never play like any oither person no matter
the amount of respect he has for such person.
Throughtout the period of Henry in the team,Adebayor was not himself .
The only time he ever tried to be himself were those days when Henry was nursing
the long lasting injury last cummulated to his departure from the club.
At that time a cearful observer would have noticed that Adebayor would definetely
not perform to his full capacity as long as the likes of Super Star Henry were still in
the club to cause him to have an inferiority complex.
Whenever Adebayor scored any goal (which he usually did after losing many chances),
he would looked to the reserve bench to singal to his hero who would always be there
to wave his "Shining hand".
There was even a match when Adebayor jumped out to the
sideline to hug his hero and had a funny dance step with him after scoring a long awaited
goal.
The annoying part of his celebration is that Adebayor hardly thanks the person who
did the assist first before going to Henry as if he was the one that passed the ball which he
converted to a goal.
Well...
Adebayor, congrats for now and l hope you will keep it up for a long time to come.
This is your chance and Wenger looks up to you to perform. The man believes too
much in you to deliver.Do it for him.

Jay Jay Okocha: Old Wine Tastes Bette
Since his return to Hull FC the "Incredible Soccer Magician"
Jay Jay Okocha has been mesmerising the fans of the club and
even the opponents' fans with his soccer artistry.
We all knew who Jay Jay was before he departed England to Qatar
in Asia.None of us ever doubted his ability and his dribbles. But no right
thinking soccer fan would have thought this incredible guy who taught
Ronadinho how to do it in their days at PSG in France would have thought
Asia was the best place for him after Bolton Wanderers experience. But he
went all the same.
Now the magician is back with his magic wand and evrybody has started to
imagine that there is a hope for promotion for his club- Hull.
Have we all forgotten all of a sudden that Jay Jay Okocha is not an all out striker ?
Jay Jay Okocha is an attacking midfielder whose main joy is to link the defence
with the attack, and perhaps sieze any avaikable opportunity himself.
He creates chances for his team-mates by withholding the ball and watch who
is free or in a good position for goal and pass the ball to such scorer to put the
ball behind the opponents' net.
Too much expectation may cause the fans of Hull FC to start feeling some sense
of loss when Jay Jay Okocha fails to score the goals as they would want him to.
Jay Jay Okocha would help this lowly placed club,no doubt about that.
But for the fans to start feeling that because Jay Jay Okocha has joined them
they would automatically gain their desired promotion to the Premiership is a
falacy of the highest order.Jay Jay Okocha can do it all by himself.
Have you forgotten that Jay Jay is approaching is mid-thirthies and that the
muscles get weaker by the days?
The best Hull FC fans should expect Jay Jay to do for their darling club is to
make some money for the board and the shareholders(if there are) as fans would
always troupe into the stadium to watch the soccer magician himself who would
not be tired of giving them what they want to see.
To end this write up l want to sound a note of warning to everybody who has
anything to do with Hull FC.
Jay Jay Okocha may leave the club in January.
Jay Jay is performing the ways he is doing for a purpose...just one purpose
alone,if you ask me.
Our dear Jay Jay Okocha is a showman who love the big stage.Being an
entertainer per excellence Jay Jay Okocha would love to come back to the
Premiership where the stage is far bigger than the torturious level
(Psychologically l mean).
Quote me, Jay Jay Okocha would surely come back to occupy his rightful
place at the Premiership.
It would rather be sooner than later.
Just watch out for the fulfilment of this prediction.
The signs are obvious, except that some of us don't seem to notice .
Won't the likes of Bolton want Jay Jay back? What about Tottenharm?
What about the other struggling teams who desire a push up from their
bottom position?
Jay Jay Okocha would surely come back to the \Premiership sooner!
