Taye Taiwo Injured!

Taye Taiwo is said to have sustained an injury while playing for his club.
That is not a palatable news.

But what l want to say here is that most of Nigeria's players are always
ready top die for their club rather than for their ;whereas in other countries
it is the other way round - country before club.

Taiwo's hard and dedicated way is playing matches for his club has endeared
him to so many managers all over Europe and this is commendable.

Taiwo overlaps for his club and, most times, assisted the strikers in forcing the
opposition to go back to their goal post to make shaky defence thereby forcing
a mistake that usually lead to a goal.

Does he do that for the country whenever he plays?

Well...
What is the cause of this?

The reason is not far-fetched.Taiwo,like any other Super eagles player, is always
injury scared.

They all know that the very moment they are injured, then they are abandoned
by their country. But their club would do everything medically possible to get
them treated and well managed by competent and highly qualified medical
personnel in Europe.

It's high time NFF changed its ways to the welfare of the players.

If we must get the best out o these players, we need to assure them that they
would not be abandoned like their predecessors whenever they are injured while
playing for their father land.

Is Ahmadu Our Problem?

Most people are shouting now simply bevcause the
Super Eagles disappointed everybody in their match
against Mozambique.

Some are already agitating for Ahmadu's sack while others
are indifferent.

Well, the issue of wether to sack or not should not worry
us as we all know that NFF deliberately picked Ahmadu over
Siasia and Keshi because he is the only one who would take
whatever rubbish that is thrown at him.

The real problem now is what Ahmadu himself said on Brila Radio
about his unreadiness to do away with fumbling foreign base
eagles annd use the home based players that are ready to
perform for their mother land.

Are we so crazy as not to see the handwriting on the wall when
things are gradually getting worrisome?

This set of Europe based players are always minding their legs
anytime they played for the country and they showed their fear
of being injured at all the matches. This has always led us to
a situation where we don't to the necessaary things in the
opponents' box because the players will not want to go back to
their clubs with injury.

Ahmadu is not our problem.

Eagles players are not our problems.

The REAL PROBLEM of Nigerian soccer are the likes of Taiwo Ogunjobi
who have come to see the boardroom of the NFF as their only work
place and nowhere else.Threfore, like Dr. Amos Adamu of old, they
would do anything to remain in the board even when they have outlived
their relevance and usefulness for the country.
