Even In Henry's Absence

The problem with people generally is that when they are used to something or someone they hardly wish that they person or thing should go away from them one they later. But the truth about life is that at a point in time what we truly cherish will depart from us .

The same is the case of Thierry Henry who, after so many years with the gunners, decided he must try his luck elsewhere to get the elusive medal he eyes so much with passion- The Champions' League title.

There was serious cry everywhere by mustly people who do not know the stuff Wenger was made of.

Both Henry and Ljunburg gave Wenger's seeming departure as their excuse to get out of the Emirate Stadium, but the young boys stay the course and pushed on in the new season-2007/8.

Now, we know who the problem was when he was around--- Thierry Henry!

My reason?

Well, he was too big to be blamed for any fault he committed on the field of play. Yet me missed
so much golden chances. Remember the 2004/5 season against Barcelona?

Henry denied having anything to do with Barca, but alas! He ended up being their player.

Henry was a liar!

He even lied to his dear wife and left her for another woman. Now, they are separated.

The young gunners are doing fine without the "Almighty Skippo"- Henry.

Who says Wenger would go?
They all lied!

The old man said he will never desert the young boys who are all so ambitious that he would lead them through the odds to become great players they are all dreaming of becoming in life.

What a great coach ....What a great father-figure we all have in Wenger.

If only other managers are like this guy......

If only.......

Yours in soccer,

Sikirulai Olukayode Kazeem
